Second Skin reinterprets the traditional materiality of memorial culture exploring alternative means to express grief and trauma. Marble, plaster, textiles and pigments are combined, dipped, ground and broken in creating a range of objects and paintings that challenge expectations. The intention is to evoke a visceral experience for the viewer.
