NEW CONTEMPORARIES

New Contemporaries features the work of thirteen recent SCA graduates: Chris Bonnily, Ciaran Begley, Kate Brown, Barbara Campbell, Consuelo Cavaniglia, Sylvia Griffin, Dan Hollier, Yeliz Kocaballi, Paul Mumme, Sean O’Connell, Catherine Payne, Niall Robb, Emma Varker and Gianni Wise. Through painting, photography, sculpture, installation and video, these artists explore the political and personal implications of making, viewing and experiencing art.

The 2017 New Contemporaries artists were selected by a panel of SCA academics, based on a call for applications from postgraduates who completed their degrees in 2016.
